電気でつなぐカーボンニュートラルの自動車社会。A carbon-neutral automobile society connected by electricity.

「CASE」という言葉があります。「connected,autonomous,shared &services,electric」です。これは、電動で、全てをつなぎ、効率よく全てのサービスを共有する。という意味です。これから、カーボンニュートラル、つまり、CO2を削減する為に、最も、必要とされる理念です。

先日、いすゞ、日野、トヨタの協業が発表されました。これは、自動車メーカーという、大きな枠組みを超えて、社会を変革する、第一歩として、発表されました。今回の事業は、壮大で、トヨタ自動車株式会社といすゞ自動車株式会社は、株式の持ち合いの基本提携合意書を締結しました。それ程、大きな協業であり、その思い描く未来は、壮大です。

東日本大震災があった3月に毎年、訪れたトヨタ自動車の豊田章男氏は、この10年(2021年3月)という節目の年に大きな決意を3社協業という形で、未来社会を、語りました。場所、福島県浪江町で、グリーン水素を作る製造拠点「FH2R」。これを活用して、乗用車のみならず、商用車を運用(connected)して、社会を作り上げる、というものです。

EC等、インターネットによる物流の増加により、トラック等の商用車の運用は、課題が多く、運送業界を、改革無くして、明るい未来、カーボンニュートラルは、達成できないとし、決意、協業に至りました。

トヨタ自動車の豊田章男氏、「社会をもっと良くしたい。日本をもっと良くしたい。」日野自動車の下義生氏「欲しい時に荷物が届き、人々の生活が笑顔で包まれるよう。」いすゞ自動車の片山正則氏「会社とは、社会の為にイノベーションを起こすちから。その姿勢。」と、それぞれ、決意を述べました。

商用車のEC，FCV化を推し進め、そして、その社会が、「CASE」によって形成され、最も効率よく、人々が、幸せになれる社会を目指す。これが、社会に求められている、使命を果たす為の協業の理念です。この会見では、このような言葉が、ちから強くメッセージとして、添えられていました。「我々の他にこの協業に志を同じくする、方(企業)が居れば、常にopen な姿勢で、参ります。」地球は、ひとつ。国境を超え、皆さまにこの気持ちが、届きますように。

We will promote the conversion of commercial vehicles to EC and FCV, and aim for a society in which the society is formed by “CASE” and that people can be happy most efficiently. This is the philosophy of collaboration to fulfill the mission required by society.
