日本では、5月の第2週目の日曜日は、母の日、と言って、お母さんにプレゼントを贈る、習慣があります。

その母の日にお決まりのパターンがあります。

それは、カーネーション(花)をプレゼントします。

私は、プレゼントやお祝い、を派手にしたり、しません。

そこには、母の強烈なほどの金銭感覚が、受け継がれています。

母は、商売人の家に生まれています。

私は、幼い時に、お小遣いを貯めて、カーネーションを、プレゼントしました。

初めてのことで、ドキドキ、していました。

そうすると、母は、「これ、私のお金で、買ったのね。」と、言い放ち、ありがとう、の一言もありません、でした。

確かに、お小遣いは、家庭から、もらったものでした。

それも、一年で、カーネーションが、一番、お高い、時期です。

ここまで、言われると、とても、毎年、お祝い、なんて、できない。

こんなことも、ありました。料理が、したいので、オーブンを買ってもらいました。

そうすると、母は、誕生日やクリスマスになると、ケーキを焼くように、いつも、私に言います。

そして、わずかな予算で、ケーキを作ることしか、できないほど、予算は、削ります。

ですから、クリスマスシーズンの、お高いイチゴなんて、とてもじゃないけど、買えません。

ですから、缶詰のフルーツを買って、チェリーや、パイナップル、ピーチなど、色とりどりにして、なんとか、作っていました。

そして、お正月(一年の始まりを日本は、オショウガツと言って、お祝い、します。)になると、又、指示が出ます。

鯛の姿焼き、を作るように、言います。

鯛を串に刺して、踊っているようにして、オーブンで、毎年焼いていました。

鯛の姿焼きは、お高い、です。ですから、自分で作って節約していました。

お誕生日お祝いなんて、小さい頃は、していたけれど、ケーキを焼くのも、もう、どうでもよくなりました。

イチゴのお高い時期に、手作りのケーキにイチゴをのせるのは、不経済、だと思います。

そんな、経済感覚が、身についています。

小さな節約は、後の、大きな成長になります。

工夫をして、いかに、楽しむのか、そこには、知恵が生まれる、原点、が、あります。

カーネーションは、とても育てやすい、お花です。

タネを買って、たくさん、咲かせるのも、ステキだと思います。

知恵を使って、より良い、暮らしにしたいですね。

In Japan, the second week of May, Sunday, is Mother’s Day, and there is a custom of giving presents to mothers.

There is a fixed pattern on Mother’s Day.

It presents carnations (flowers).

I don’t flashy gifts or celebrations.

There, the intense monetary sensation of my mother is passed down.

My mother was born in a merchant’s house.

When I was young, I saved my pocket money and presented a carnation.

It was my first time and I was excited.

Then, my mother said, “I bought this for my money.”

Certainly, my pocket money was received from my family.

It’s also the year when carnation is the most expensive.

So far, I can’t celebrate every year.

There was also such a thing.

I want to cook, so I got an oven.

Then my mother always tells me to bake a cake on birthdays and Christmas. And I cut the budget so that I can only make a cake with a small budget.

So I can’t buy expensive strawberries for the Christmas season, though it’s not very good.

So, I bought canned fruits and made them colorful with cherries, pineapples, peaches, etc.

Then, when New Year’s Day (the beginning of the year is called “Oshogatsu, Japan celebrates”), instructions will be given again.

Ask them to make a grilled sea bream.

I grilled sea bream every year in the oven, sticking on a skewer and dancing as if I were dancing.

The grilled sea bream is expensive.

So I made it myself to save money.

I used to celebrate birthdays when I was little, but I don’t mind baking cakes anymore.

I think it is uneconomical to put strawberries on a handmade cake during the high season of strawberries.

I have such an economic sense.

Small savings will be big growth later.

There is a starting point, where wisdom is born, how to devise and enjoy.

Carnations are flowers that are very easy to grow.

I think it’s great to buy seeds and make them bloom a lot.

I want to use my wisdom to make a better life.
