私は、普通の一般人だから、そんな大きなこともできないし、社会に奉仕といってもそんな体力もない。

寄付なんていってもささやかなことしかできません。

毎日、暮らしていると、「タオル」を使います。

それが、大切に使っていても、いずれは、要らないものになってしまいます。

それを眺めてるとふと、ミシンを出して、要らないタオルをごっそりと出して、「ぞうきん」を縫い始めました。

なんと、27枚もの「ぞうきん」ができました。

日本では、春になると、学校が「ぞうきん」を集めます。

1人について、3枚とか。その「ぞうきん」をこの頃のお母さんは、お店で買います。

そして、「キティちゃん」の柄の入った「ぞうきん」を持たせたと言う人もいます。

私は、何かちょっと違う気がする、のです。

私の作った「ぞうきん」は、見かけのよくない「ぞうきん」です。

それを学校に持って行きました。

学校の先生は、何も言わなかったけれど、使ってくれると、嬉しい、と思っています。

また、タオルが、増えたら、今度は近くの保育園に持って行ってみようと思います。

そうやって、ものを大切に使って、いきたいと思っています。

「寄付品」なんて大げさな、タイトル、を付けてしまいました。

ミシンのない人は、手縫いでも良いと思います。

こんな小さな事ですが、皆さまに広がる、と良いな、と思い書いてみました。
