Appleのデバイスは、「壊れるまで」無理して、お使いした方が、良いサポート体制です。
このことをお伝えしたくて、この記事を書いています。
iPadが、調子が悪かった。工場出荷状態にしないと動かないくらいの悪い状態でした。
まだ、1年5ヶ月しか、経っていない。
前のiPadも2年程で、画面が真っ暗になり壊れてしまった。
でも、前の時は、偶然だろうと思っていた。
iPadのApple Care＋は、10,000円以下です。
とてもお安く入れます。これに、入っておくことは、大事です。
私は、今、持っている製品には全部入っている。
でも、このiPadは、入っていなかった。
そこで、Appleに電話してみました。
まだ、壊れてはいないが、色んなことをしてみたけれど、工場出荷状態にしないと、正常に動かない、状況です。
あなたなら、どう判断しますか？
私は、これは、壊れる前兆だと判断しました。
とても、不愉快な思いでした。
この電話サポートは、「工場出荷状態にしてみたら？」という、アドバイスでした。
…このアドバイスは、受けておけば、良かったと後悔する状況に発展しました。
結局のところ、デバイスをAppleで交換すると戻ってこないことを知っておきましょう。
まだ、壊れていないiPadが、整備品のiPadが送られてきました。
初めての事で、びっくりました。
少し、気になることがありました。点検は、していただきました。
でも、元のデバイスには、できません。
結局、点検に出すことによって、整備品の外箱も、Apple社に取られて、戻って来なかった。
整備品は、シリアル番号が、「F…」から、始まる番号が、付いています。
新品でも、不具合の多い製品を、整備品が、それ以上のコストパフォーマンスを上回るとは、思わない。
上回るなら、新品よりも、プライスは、高くなる。
整備品は、1年保証しか付いていません。
私の渡された、製品はその保証も付いていない。
この事を、ちゃんと、初めから説明する、ことはアドバイザーには、欠けていた。
結局のところ、このデバイスは、自宅で、保管することにしました。
なぜなら、マイクロソフトのofficeが、入っている最後のモデルです。
マイクロソフトのofficeは、10インチ以下でないと、入らない。
最新モデルは、このofficeが、ないので、お安い。
私は、最新モデルのお安いiPadにAppleCare +を付けて購入しました。
…でも、こんなに壊れ易い、デバイスを使い続けるか、考え中です。
お安いと言ってもApple製品は、他の機種に比べて、お高い。
タブレットは、壊れたら、今度は、日本製のタブレットが、壊れにくいのでは、と考えています。
私は、pcも購入しました。
