私は、日本の実業家の中で、とても気になる社長がいます。
それは、トヨタ自動車の社長の豊田章男氏です。(以下、アキオと呼びます。)
日本の実業家は、総じて、無表情が多いです。言葉も少なくて、外国の方からすれば、何を考えているか、分からない、と感じることも多い、と思います。
日本は、同音異義語(ドウオンイギゴ)という、ものが多いです。これは、同じ発音ながら、違う意味の言葉のことで、これは、文章の前と後から、「意味」を察して、それぞれの言葉に変換します。
ですから、「漢字」の読み方も多様で、人生の終わりまで、なお、読めない、文字が存在します。
日本には、漢字、ひらがな、カタカナ、があります。ですから、とても難しい言葉です。
この中でも、カタカナ、とても優秀な文字です。「外来語」といって、外国語を、カタカナ、で分類します。近年、英語圏以外の国では、とても困っている、ようです。
ですが、ここ日本では、カタカナを外来語、として分類するので、とても便利、です。
話は、戻りますが、このように日本の文化は、言葉が、多様なので、ジェスチャーがなくても、とても細かくニュアンスが伝わるので、自然と、言葉の数も減ります。
ですから、日本の実業家は、あまり表情を出しません。
なのに、アキオは、とても表情が豊かなので、見ているだけで、面白く、拝見しております。
日本で、「ミライ」という、水素を原料とした、自然に優しいクルマ、を作りました。これが、アキオの会社でした。
日本の政策によって、作成されて、とても自然に優しいクルマ、でした。
ですが、インフラの普及に関わるコストや、車内の空間問題、等で、結局のところ、採用されませんでした。
ですので、大きな投資をして開発したクルマは、ムダ、になってしまいました。
この時、アキオは、記者会見で、泣いた、のです。とても、苦しかったのだと思います。私は、ああ、なんと純情な方、だな、と感じました。
色んなことをこなしておられるようですが、コロナウイルスでの記者会見では、顔面蒼白(ガンメンソウハク、顔色が悪いこと)で、とても表情が、硬かったです。
これは、きっと夜も、良く眠れていない、と感じました。フィクションは、とても面白い、です。
事業は、ひとつの企業の人生ですから、その歴史、もとても興味がありますし、その運営をしている実業家は、運命共同体です。
これからも、アキオの顔色を見ながら、これからも色んなことを、察して、みたいです。
今回は、実業家らしくない、アキオのお話でした。
アキオについては、とても、憤慨(フンガイ、怒っている)ことがあるので、又、書いてみたいと思っています。
私は、もっと、アキオは、アメリカのトランプ大統領のように、図太い人間になって欲しいのですが、ナイーブそうなので、それも、ムリだと感じています。
なので、真面目、を武器、に頑張って欲しいと、思っております。

The story goes back, but in this way, Japanese culture has a wide variety of languages, so even without gestures, very detailed nuances can be conveyed, and the number of words naturally decreases.
Therefore, Japanese businessmen do not express much.
Nevertheless, Akio has a very expressive face, so just looking at it is fun and interesting.
In Japan, we created a car called “MIRAI”, a natural car that uses hydrogen as a raw material.
This was Akio’s company.
It was a very nature-friendly car created by Japanese policy.
However, due to the cost related to the spread of infrastructure and the space issues in the car, they were not adopted after all.
So, the car that we developed with a big investment became waste.
At this time, Akio cried at a press conference. I think it was very painful. I felt, oh, how innocent.
