ほとんどの日本の小学校にある、「二ノ宮金次郎」の像をご存知でしょうか。
この頃は、改築の時に撤去されることも多いようです。
残念なことです。
多分、日本人なら、知っていると思います。
外国の方は、知らない人も多いと思います。
この像は、1787年に生まれた、実在の人物です。
薪を背に背負って本を開いて勉強する姿、です。
とても貧しいので、夜、勉強するのに、明かりさえ与えられず、明るい時間は、働きながら、本を手にしてひたすら、自分で勉強しました。
その幼少期の時の姿です。このように、決して恵まれない環境でさえ、「勉強」することの大切さを、心に刻む像が日本にはあります。
この人物は、身分制度の厳しい時代に、農民でお金も無い家に生まれました。
そして勉強して、知恵を絞って、自分だけでなく、多くの人を救い、出世しました。
今の時代でも「尊敬」されています。「教育」を受ける時間がなくても、工夫すれば、「勉強」できます。
「勉強」は、「人生」を変えると、以前書きました。
それは、どんな境遇の人でも、「本」があれば、できます。
ノートは、枯木をペンにして、砂に「字」を書いても、勉強できます。
大人は、子供に「勉強」の大切さ、を教えれば、子供は、自分で勉強するようになります。
本当に勉強が、出来る、ということは、自分で勉強する事、です。
人から教えられた「勉強」は、「暗記」であって、身につきません。
回り道をして、自分で調べ、学び、学んだことは、身についた「勉強」で、「暗記」ではなく、それは、実際の自分の「人生」を変えます。
ですから、本当の勉強は、個人差がありますが、「時間」をかけて、「自分で学ぶ」ことが大切です。
「勉強」に近道は、ありません。この「二ノ宮金次郎」の像は、「常に勤勉(キンベン)であることは、すばらしい」ことを教えています。
「勤勉、キンベン」とは、「まじめに」「勉強」することです。
これは、基礎の「勉強」だけでは、なく、日本では、「勤勉(キンベン)に働く」とよく言います。
つまり、大人になって、社会人になっても、「仕事」は、「まじめに勉強すること」です。
ですから、常に、「仕事」は、「改善、カイゼン」です。
この言葉は、トヨタ自動車、で、世界的に有名な言葉、です。
単純な仕事は、ありません。
小さな事でも、良いのです。
仕事から、得られることを、勉強して、答えを出します。
そこには、「改善、カイゼン」があります。
小さなことです。これを、ひとつ、ひとつ、重ねていくと、大きな「差」が、つきます。
これは、「洗濯の仕方」
にも、書きました。
まじめに、物事をする事は、大切です。
小さなことを、軽く考えては、いけません。
それを、まじめに、取り組み、ひとつ、ひとつ、積み重ねる、ことは、恥ずかしいことではありません。
近道は、決してありません。
真の「勉強」は、境遇ではなく、「心構え」です。
これは、「サムライ」

本当の「勉強」は、教えられなくとも、「道徳心」が、身に付きます。
親は、決して、子供を自分のものとは、思ってはいけません。
「社会」に「還元」するのです。
ですから、日本では、「教育の機会」が平等にあります。
これは、社会の助け合いに、通じる、ものです。
ですから、国際的に「攻撃された国」にも、困っていれば、日本は、その国を助けたりします。
これは、よく、「人道的支援」とか、言われるものです。
このように、「勉強」すれば、「道徳」もできます。
まずは、「勉強」の「素晴らしさ」を知って欲しい、と思い、日本の「二ノ宮金次郎」の像を題材に書いてみました。

Even if you do not have time to receive “education”, you can “study” if you devise it.

“Study” is important to learn the basics in order to make many choices in your life.
If you study the basics well, you will also have “morality”.
It can be done by people of all circumstances with a “book”.
You can study notebooks by writing a letter on the sand with a dead tree as a pen.
If an adult teaches a child the importance of “study”, the child will study by himself.
To really study is to study by yourself. The “study” taught by a person is “memorization” and is not learned.
By detouring, investigating, learning and learning by yourself is what you have learned, not “memorization”, which actually changes your “life.”
Therefore, there are individual differences in true study, but it is important to take “time” and “learn by yourself”.
There is no shortcut to “study”.
The image of “Kinjiro Ninomiya” teaches that “always being a diligent person is wonderful.”
“Hard work, Kimben” means “serious” and “studying”.
This is often called “working hard” in Japan, not just the basic “study”.
In other words, even if you grow up and become a member of society, your “work” is to “learn seriously”.
Therefore, “work” is always “improvement, Kaizen”.
This word is Toyota Motor Corporation, and is a world-famous word.
There is no simple job.
Even small things are good. Learn what you can get from work and give answers.
There is “improvement, Kaizen” there. It’s a small thing.
If you stack this one by one, you will get a big difference.

True “study” is not “circumstance” but “attitude”.

Parents should never think of their children as their own.

This is something that helps people in society.
