今回は、京都市東山区にある高台寺と圓徳院のライトアップです。
豊臣秀吉と北政所を祀る御霊屋は、撮影禁止です。ですから、ぜひ、ここに来て見て下さいね。
今回は、ライトアップの時に行ったものです。京都の夜は、雨の日もまた美しさが、格別です。心模様を映し出すように、その風景は、歴史を感じ、自然を堪能して工夫されています。
時に、人は、完全を欲しがりますが、不完全な美も非常に美しいものです。それは、万人が、同じ感性を持っているのではないからです。だから、色んな「美」があります。
天気によって、季節によって色んな美しさがあります。それは、壮大な時間を超えて、今、再現されています。
今を生きる私たちにとって、古来の人は自然と共存し、そこに小さな喜びを見い出していました。これは、交通手段もない昔の人は、そうすることで、毎日を過ごしていました。
ですから、非常に考えられた、美しさがあります。四季を愛し、風景を愛し、そこには、庭に、美しさを凝縮しています。では、見ていきましょう。
This time, we will light up Kodaiji Temple and Entoku-in Temple in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City.
Shooting is prohibited at the Mausoleum, which enshrines Toyotomi Hideyoshi and Kodai-in. So please come here and take a look.

The landscape is devised to reflect the pattern of the heart, feeling the history and enjoying nature. Sometimes one wants perfection, but imperfect beauty is also very beautiful.
That’s because not everyone has the same sensibilities. Therefore, there are various “beauty”. There are various beauty depending on the weather and the season.
It’s been recreated now, beyond spectacular time. For us living in the present, ancient people coexisted with nature and found a little joy there.
This is because old people, who had no means of transportation, spent their days doing so. So there is a very thoughtful and beautiful beauty.
I love the four seasons, I love the scenery, and the beauty is condensed in the garden. Let’s take a look.
ここが正面からの景色です。ここから夢舞台は、始まっています。「夢」あなたは、何を想像しますか？趣のある言葉です。格子越しにしか、見えない「夢」の字は、手の届かない「夢」を想像します。そんな「夢」を見れるあなたは、幸せなのかもしれません。
This is the view from the front. The dream stage begins here. “Dream” What do you imagine? It’s a quaint word. The character “dream” that can only be seen through the grid imagines a “dream” that cannot be reached. You may be happy to have such a “dream”.
「夢（ゆめ）」と書かれています。It says “dream”.
高台にあるので、横からこのように降りる階段があります。ライトアップして、とても美しい風景が、広がっています。「夢」をかけ上がる階段にも見えます。足元が照らし出され、いかにも「夢舞台」に駆け上がるそんな階段に見えます。
Since it is on a hill, there are stairs that go down like this from the side. It is lit up and a very beautiful landscape is spreading. It looks like a staircase that raises a “dream”. It looks like a staircase that illuminates your feet and runs up to the “dream stage”.
高台にあるので、常に足元は、急です。これが風流で、色んな茶屋からさまざまな景色が、楽しめます。だかこそ、季節の移ろいを楽しむのには、とても贅沢なものです。ぜひ、明るい景色を見たくなる、そんな感情が湧いてきました。
Being on a hill, your feet are always steep. This is the style, and you can enjoy various views from various teahouses. It’s a luxury to enjoy the changing seasons. By all means, I feel like I want to see the bright scenery.
移動しやすいように、渡り廊下も数多くあります。非常に、手間暇をかけて作られたこの建物は、非常に貴重です。だからこそ、今も大切に現存しています。時に渡り廊下は、池をまたぎ、石を眺め、とても贅沢な庭の趣を味わうことができるのです。
There are also many passageways to make it easier to move around. This very time-consuming building is invaluable. That is why it still exists with great care. Occasionally, the corridor straddles the pond, looks out over the stones, and gives you a taste of a very luxurious garden.
鏡うつしの池です。とても澄んだ池で、透明度があります。この池のほとりで、昔の人は、何を思い考えたでしょう。澄んだ水は、心の清らかさを示すようです。心は、常にこうありたいですね。
It is a mirror pond. It is a very clear pond and is transparent. What did the old people think of by the pond? Clear water seems to indicate the purity of the mind. I always want my heart to be like this.
灯籠も風流です。この灯籠に灯りを灯し、昔の人は池を眺めていたのでしょう。The lanterns are also a breeze. People in the old days would have been looking at the pond by lighting this lantern.
坂の登り詰めたところに御霊屋が、あります。
There is a mausoleum at the top of the hill.
ここに豊臣秀吉と北政所（ねね）が祀られています。Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Kitanomandokoro(Nene) are enshrined here.
これが、瓦（かわら）です。「紋」が入っています。これ以上は、ここは、撮影できません。
This is a roof tile. Contains a “crest”. No more shooting can be done here.
長い渡り廊下がありました。ここは、立ち入り禁止です。こんな急な渡り廊下を作るのは、非常に困難だったでしょう。けれども、そこには、風景を楽しむ、「贅沢」があります。
There was a long corridor. This is off limits. It would have been very difficult to make such a steep corridor. However, there is “luxury” to enjoy the scenery.
途中、竹林もありました。多くのことを凝縮した庭には、このようなところもあります。毎年、タケノコが芽を出します。けれども、これは、綺麗にとります。非常に手入れの必要な竹林です。何故なら、成長が、早いからです。コンパクトにまとめられた竹林は、非常に手入れをされていることが窺えます。
There was also a bamboo grove on the way. There is also such a place in the garden where many things are condensed. Bamboo shoots sprout every year. However, this is taken neatly. It is a bamboo grove that requires great care. Because it grows fast. It can be seen that the compact bamboo grove is very well maintained.
茶室がありました。下の方ですので、景色は、楽しむ茶室ではありません。色んなところに茶室がありますので、用途に合わせて使い分けていたことが窺い知ることができます。
There was a tea room. Since it is at the bottom, the view is not a tea room to enjoy. There are tea rooms in various places, so you can see that they were used properly according to the purpose.
ライトアップは、美しいですね。贅沢を尽くした上のライトアップは、非常に贅沢を重ねあわせ、時に人は、その贅沢さに、魅力を感じ、立ちとまります。
The light up is beautiful. The luxurious light-up is a superposition of extravagance, and sometimes people are attracted to the extravagance and stand still.
お庭をスクリーンにして、色んなパフォーマンスがされています。

とても手入れされているので、通路さえ、綺麗です。整然とされた美しさは、心打たれるものがあります。心は、常にこうありたいです。けれども、煩悩というものが、心を惑わせます。整然であることの「美」は、心惹かれるものがあるでしょう。
It’s so well maintained that even the aisles are clean. The orderly beauty is impressive. My heart always wants to be like this. However, the worldly desires are confusing. The “beauty” of being orderly will be fascinating.
白壁を龍が、浮かび上がっています。龍のように舞い上がりたい、そんな気持ちになります。ですが、心は、あの池のように清らかでなければ、この境地には、辿り着けないでしょう。だからこそ「夢」なのかもしれません。「夢」から覚めると、そこには、鐘楼を見つけました。
A dragon is emerging on the white wall. I feel like I want to soar like a dragon. But if your heart isn’t as pure as that pond, you won’t be able to reach this point. That may be why it is a “dream”. When I woke up from my “dream”, I found a bell tower there.
次に高台寺の西にある圓徳院（えんとくいん）に行きました。
階段を降りていきます。ひっそりと、佇んでいます。夢舞台から、現実に戻ったような感じです。そうやって門構えを見ると立派な門構えです。
Next, I went to Entoku-in, which is west of Kodaiji Temple.
I will go down the stairs. It stands quietly. It’s like returning to reality from the dream stage. Looking at the gate stance like that, it is a magnificent gate stance.
よく見ると、豊臣の名前を名乗る前の「羽柴」の名前が提灯に書かれています。
If you look closely, the name of “Hashiba” before giving the name of Toyotomi is written on the lantern.
中は、色んなものが展示されています。
Various things are exhibited inside.
庭がライトアップされています。幻想的です。もっと、後ろから見たいのですが、前の通路でしか、庭は、見れません。だから、「部分的」に庭を写真で撮影させていただきました。この庭は、とてもコンパクトですが、「美」が堪能できます。是非、お立ち寄りください。
