私は、年賀状のハガキが、毎年余る。だから、年賀状が余れば、どうすれば分からないので、母に少しプレゼントした。なんと、母は、ゆうパックに変えて、配送費に充てる。そんなこと、目撃していれば、金券ショップで、激安の年賀状なんか有れば、そこでちょっとぐらい多くても、購入する。だって、1枚5円で、色んな配送費になる。金券ショップを覗くのは、大好き。だから、電車の切符とか、少しでも、お安く買えるなら、買うのです。
そんな様子を見て、友達は、へー！って、驚く。だから、もっぱら、1人の時に、節約生活活動をする。今でこそ、普通に見られる。けれども、その過程は、貧乏人に良く見られた。だって、通信費をお安くする為に携帯電話を持っていなかった。子供は、私より早く持たせた。何故なら、それで、友達付き合いが減るのは、可哀想に思ったからです。私は、携帯電話が、流行している時は、フリーメールで、pcなんかで、連絡を取っていました。その方が、合理的だ。
そんな感じで、私は、一般の女性とは、少し変わっている。オシャレは、大好きだった。今は、どうでもよくなった。オシャレをしている時は、良く店員にチェックされた。今もそうです。何故なら、私は、手作りが、大好き。
デパートの店員は、見る目が違う。着物の帯で作った私のバッグをチェックする。アクセサリーも手作り。色んな物を作った。それは、スワロスキーで、よく作った。だから、宝石のように綺麗です。事実、宝石と間違えて、声を掛けられる。だから、皆んなに、私の手作りの物をプレゼントすると、結婚式に使ったりしています。パールも大好き。
