今日、東京オリンピックの閉会式が、テレビでありました。もちろん、無観客。そんな中、引継ぎ式が行われた。パリの様子が、映し出された。それは、残酷な程、パリでは、人々が賑やかに自由に喜びあっている。日本とは、全く違う世界が広がっていた。
その様子は、日本が、沈みゆく日本の国旗と共に、日本国民の心は、沈んだ。そう、不幸な東京オリンピックだった。バッハ会長には、「ありがとう」。こんな日本でも、開催してくれた。
広島、長崎にも弔問してくださった。福島復興での、東京オリンピックだった。けれども、これから、日本は、コロナで、復興しなければ、いけない。
多くの我慢があった。私は、東京オリンピック閉会式前に東京オリンピック、パラリンピックの日本最大のスポンサーのトヨタ自動車の豊田章男氏の話を聞いていました。
豊田章男氏はメダリスト達に、「あきらめない。」「結果を出す。」ことの大切さを語り、メダリストになれなかった選手達には、その競技を「続ける。」ことの大切さを、語っていました。
そうして、「華やかであるほど、縁の下が有る。」つまり、支えてくれる人々がいることを強調されていました。何事も感謝の気持ちが大切だ、とおっしゃっていました。
今大会は、全日本国民が「我慢だった。」小さな画面だけど、ささやかな楽しみをありがとう。コロナで、休んでいられない。恵まれた人々は、世界にたくさんいる。
何も無い日本は、この東京オリンピック大会をスタート地点にして、何も無いところから始まる。今までもそうだった。
私は、豊田章男氏の「あきらめない。」この言葉が、心に残っています。最大のスポンサーでありながら、辛いことも有っただろう。他の多くのスポンサーも、辛かった。日本国民も同じです。
未だ、コロナとの戦いが有る。日本は、何も無い、無観客の東京オリンピックが閉会された。何も無い、日本には、似つかわしいオリンピックだった。
