日本では、コロナで、深刻な状況です。過去最高の感染者と過去最高の重症者の記録を更新しています。東京オリンピック前に65歳以上と特別な人々と医療従事者がコロナワクチンを優先接種しました。
東京以外は、64歳以下の順序に従って、年齢の高い人々から順序よく、接種されています。本格的に大規模接種は、未だ、先になりそうです。うまく、ネットで、予約すれば、早く接種できます。
そんな中、東京は違う。59歳以下は、若者からコロナワクチン接種を始めています。それも、接種を促進する為に、色んなプレゼントを用意しているのです。
この東京のことが、報じられる前は、高齢者や40-50歳代の重症化例を指摘している報道が、よく聞かれた。ところが、東京の接種順番が、発表される時期から、報道機関は、明らかに報道姿勢が変わった。
若者でも、後遺症が残っている人がいるとか、30歳代の健康な人が死亡したとか。もちろん、事実だと思う。
けれども、東京の40-50歳代の人々は、家庭を持っている。そんな人々が、死亡すれば、家庭は崩壊する。
以前にも、言ったけれども、東京は、地方とは違い、若者の行動がコントロールできない。だから、このような政策になった。何とも、皮肉な話です。
給付金があるので、若者はアルバイトができなくても、別に生活には困らない。そんな勝手気ままな人々がいる。そして、コロナワクチン接種にプレゼントが付いてくる。そんな恵まれた待遇なのです。なんか、しっくり来ないものがある。
けれども、このままでは、日本全国に感染者が拡大するから、仕方ない。東京在住の40-50歳代の人々は、不運です。
そんな中、東京パラリンピックが、8月24日ー9月5日に行われる。東京オリンピックでは、ジェンダー問題、人種問題、果ては、亡命まであった。
このような雰囲気の中で、オリンピックができて、パラリンピックができないとは言えない。人々の多様性を重視した東京オリンピックだから、東京パラリンピックも成功しなければ、ならない。
しかし、日本国民には、コロナに対して、免疫がまだ無い。そんな中、付き添いの多いパラリンピックのアスリートをサポートできるだけの余力と、医療体制が、できるかは、不確実性が多い。
もう、次々と緊急事態宣言が、色んなところから出されて、緊急事態宣言の期間も延長されています。どこまで、マンパワーが、出せるのか、これも、パラリンピックの直前まで、公開されることなく、検討されるでしょう。
これを公言すれば、人々は、気が緩むからです。とても、難しい日本の課題が、山積している。
もう、コロナ治療は、トリアージも、検討どころか、病床が、逼迫していて、このデルタ株の強い感染力は、自宅待機中にコロナ治療が十分に受けることなく、亡くなる人もいる。
ワクチンが、行き渡るのは、未だ先です。日本製ワクチンは、開発が遅れており、来年になった。
世界から、選手が集まることによって、ラムダ株も、日本では、上陸した。負の連鎖を断ち切る為に、日本にできることは、そう多くないと感じる。
東京オリンピックは、疲れた人々の心を癒した。事実、私もそのひとりでもある。
これから、日本は、どうなるのか世界が注目している。本当の意味で、成功するかは、これからが、とても大事です。
