連日、東京オリンピックのテレビ番組が、ここ日本では放送されています。そうして、段々と、コロナ感染情報の数値が、瞬く間にひどくなり、同時に進行している日本です。
まだ、私はワクチンを打っていない。私は、プラチナチケットと言われる、「ワクチンの権利」を取得できた。だから、数日後には、ワクチンを打てる。それは、インターネットで、ようやく手にした。だから、インターネットの使いこなせ無い方は不利です。又、ワクチン予約のために、時間を費やすことのできない方も不利です。
ほとんどの人々は、ワクチンを打つことができない。そんな中、外出が、怖い人々は、多いと思う。けれども、やはり、仕方なく、用事が有れば、外出する。ほとんどの人々は、ワクチンを打っていない。その中で、東京オリンピックが開催されている。
いくら日本選手が、メダルを取得しても、これは、喜べない状況になりつつ、ある。選手達が、5年と言う歳月を経て、結果を出せる姿は、実に晴れやかです。けれども、今大会は、メンタルで、その競技を辞退した選手もいた。
そんな、究極の状況に人々は晒されています。恐ろしい程、感染力を付けたコロナは、ちょっとした、気遣いだけでは、もはや、感染を抑えられない。日本では、電車、バスは、皆さまマスクをして、声も出さない。無言です。必要以上には、声を出さない。そんな街。けれども、感染は、収まることが無く、広がりを見せています。
やはり、オリンピックは、特別な人々の祭典です。テレビ放送を見ていても、そこには、「別世界」しか無い。以前からそうだった。だけど、民衆は、気付かなかった、だけなのです。会期もまだ有るし、その後にパラリンピックも有る。そうやって、人々は、オリンピックは、特別な人々の楽しみであることを確実に悟る。
だから、米国では、違うスポーツイベントに視聴率を取られる。もはや、オリンピックとは、特別な人々のものです。だから、日本も、これを契機に、オリンピックには、親近感は、無くなる。だって、オリンピックに億単位の赤字が算出されても、人々には、ワクチンは支給されない。
せめて、オリンピック番組は、コロナに苦しむ人々や、それで、生活を困窮している人々、医療従事者に時間をとって、メッセージを常に発信しなければ、いけない。放送関係者は、コロナに対して、鈍感です。そうして、どうすれば、最善なのか、具体的にメッセージを送るべきです。
多くの人々が、視聴しているオリンピックだからこそ、テレビ番組でできることは、多い。なのに、解説者が、長く時間をかけて、色んな解説をする。今、そんなことは、必要とされていない。要するに、オリンピックが、皆さまの協力によって成り立っているのだから、テレビ番組にコロナ情報が、有った方が、良い。
多分、このままの放送体制なら、オリンピック、パラリンピック、と行われ、それと並行して、人々は、コロナ感染が広がって、行く。人々に有益な情報を得ることができる放送体制をしないと、人々は、この大会に不満を持つ。
オリンピック、パラリンピックは、人々に支持されてこそ、できる祭典だ。それができなければ、オリンピック、パラリンピックは、特別な人々によって、特別な人々に支持される祭典に、このコロナの中で、加速していくでしょう。
