あまり語られない、「遺伝」について、少し触れてみたい、と思います。よく知られる「遺伝」に、身長、があります。
これは、疑いも無い事実で、これを否定、する人は、いない、と思います。
では、性格は？皆さま、多分、否定される方が多いと思います。
しかし、真実は、違います。
ここで、日本で、実際にあったことを書いてみたいと思います。
ある豊かな家庭に3人の男の子が、授かった夫婦がいました。
そして、月日が、穏やかに過ぎていき、そのご夫婦は、お亡くなりになられました。
その内の2人の息子が、大きな疑念を持って、調査依頼しました。
本当にこの3人兄弟は、血が繋がっているのか？…と。
そうすると、とても、驚くべき、調査結果が出ました。
生まれた病院で、ミスがあって、取り違いがあったことが、判りました。
本来、裕福な家庭に生まれたはずの男の子は、すごく貧しい家庭に育てられ、トラックの運転手をしていた、そうです。
この調査を依頼したきっかけが、兄弟の1人がとても、乱暴な性格だったそうです。
ですから、自分の子供だと思って、幸せに亡くなった夫婦でした。
ですが、それを機に、2人の兄弟が、調査依頼して、本当の兄弟を見つけた、という、話です。
このように、環境によって、形成される、と考えられている、性格、でさえ、このような、真実があります。
では、「遺伝」によって、全てが、決まるのでしょうか？最近は、「遺伝子検査」をして、子供の適正を早期発見して、英才教育をしたい、と考える人もいるようで、それを実施している国もあります。
ここで、過去の実績を語ります。
英才教育を受けた人で、「ノーベル賞」を受けた人は、いない、という真実、です。
このことから、推察されるのは、「才能」は、「能力」だけ、では、決まらない、という、真実、です。
つまり、「能力」があって、「環境」を整えても、それだけでは、不十分、だという、真実、です。
何が、足らないと、思いますか？「意欲」です。これに、勝る(マサル)ものは、ありません。 これは、努力することを意味しています。
「環境」は、優位に立てる要素ですが、「努力」があってこそ、「才能」は、「開花」することが出来ると、私は、考えています。
今回は、一般的に、語られない、「遺伝」について書いてみました。
それぞれ「個性」があります。
これを否定するのではなく、「個性」と真正面から向き合って、色んな「個性」を伸ばして、いただきたい、と思います。

But what about personality? I think most of you would probably deny it.
However, the truth is different.
Here, I would like to write about something that actually happened in Japan.
There was a wealthy couple who had three boys.
Then, as time passed peacefully, the couple passed away.
Two of the sons had serious doubts and requested an investigation.
Were these three brothers really related by blood? ... They asked.
The investigation turned out to be very surprising.
It turned out that there had been a mistake at the hospital where the boy was born, and there had been a mix-up.
Apparently, the boy who should have been born into a wealthy family was raised in a very poor family and worked as a truck driver.
The reason they requested this investigation was that one of the brothers had a very violent personality.
So the couple died happily, thinking that the child was theirs.
However, this incident prompted the two brothers to request an investigation and discover their real sibling.
This is the story of how even personality, which is thought to be formed by the environment, has this truth.
So, is everything determined by "genetics"? Recently, some people seem to want to use "genetic testing" to discover their children's aptitudes early and give them a gifted education, and some countries are implementing this.
Here, we will talk about past achievements.
The truth is that no one who has received gifted education has won a "Nobel Prize."
From this, we can infer the truth that "talent" is not determined by "ability" alone.
In other words, even if you have "ability" and you create the right "environment," it is not enough.
What do you think is missing? "Motivation." Nothing can surpass this. This means making an effort.
"Environment" is an advantageous factor, but I believe that it is only through "effort" that "talent" can "bloom".
This time, I wrote about "genetics", something that is not generally talked about.
Everyone has their own "individuality".
Rather than denying this, I would like people to face their "individuality" head-on and develop various "individuality".
